Maynard E. Brown
Mr. Brown, Chairman of the Board, has been a member of the Law Society of British Columbia since 1973 and for the majority of his professional career, specialized in advising public companies on securities law and matters related to financial and stock exchange transactions. He is currently practicing law on a part time basis and is a director of three other Exchange companies. Mr. Brown's knowledge of corporate structure and securities law has significantly contributed to the creation of Maritime Resources Corp.
Douglas Fulcher
President, Chief Executive Officer & Director
Mr. Fulcher has over thirty years experience in mining exploration and project management with Pamicon Developments Ltd., a geological consulting firm in Vancouver, British Columbia. He also has over sixteen years in budgeting and financial management. Mr. Fulcher has also been a director of a number of junior mining companies.
Bernard H. Kahlert
VP Exploration
Mr. Kahlert has been Vice-President of Exploration and a Director of Commander Resources Ltd. since 1990. He is a geological engineer with more than 30 years experience in international mineral exploration (including diamonds). Prior to joining Commander in 1990, he served as exploration manager for Amoco Minerals and Superior Oil in Australia, Canada and USA, as well as a consulting geologist for junior and major companies.
Peter Mercer
Mr. Mercer received his B.Sc. in Earth Sciences from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. With over 10 years of experience he served the first half of his career as an Exploration Geologist with Altius Minerals Corporation working on various grass roots projects all over the Island. He is currently Vice President of Corporate Development with Rambler Metals & Mining. Peter led the feasibility study of Rambler's Ming Mine, including environmental compliance, planning, permitting, development and closure plans, and government relations.
David J. McCue
Chairman of the Board & Director
Mr. McCue was a member of the Law Society of British Columbia from 1978 to 2009. Mr. McCue practiced taxation law for several years and then, for the past 17 years, specialized in advising public companies, primarily in the resource sector, on securities law and matters related to financial and stock exchange transactions. Mr. McCue recently retired from the practice of law and is currently an officer of three other Exchange issuers.
Andrew Pooler
Mr. Pooler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Idaho and has more than 30 years of experience as a mining engineer and operations executive. His most recent role was as Chief Operating Officer of Esperanza Resources Corp., prior to which he served as the Chief Executive Officer of PanTerra Gold Limited. Mr. Pooler spent 5 years with Abacus Mining and Exploration Corp. as Chief Operating Officer, where he had a key role in the advancement of the Ajax deposit. He also spent 5 years as Senior Vice President, Mine Operations, for Pan American Silver Corporation where he was responsible for the production performance of six operating mines located in Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Bolivia.
Allan W. Williams
Mr. Williams is a self employed business consultant, with over 25 years experience involving public companies and venture capital markets. Over the years Mr. Williams has worked with numerous companies in both the energy and junior mining sectors. He has held management and executive positions in both sectors and has extensive experience in project planning and development. He has raised in excess of 150 million dollars for companies in North America.
Janice Davies
Corporate Secretary
Ms. Davies, a member of the Commander management group since 1990, has been engaged in administration, systems development and management, and communications for public resource companies for more than twenty years.
Jeannine P. M. Webb, CGA
Jeannine joins MAE to provide consulting services in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer. She has over 20 years of experience in the mining resource sector and was a principal of Badger & Co. Management Corp., a private company providing a full range of financial, corporate and geological management services to junior public mineral exploration companies. During this time, she served as CFO and Corporate Secretary for companies under management with Badger & Co. Since the disbandment of Badger & Co., Mrs. Webb has served as CFO of various other private and junior "small cap" public companies.
Doug Hurst
Mr. Hurst has over 25 years of experience in the mining/resource industries having acted as geologist, consultant, mining analyst, and senior executive. Mr. Hurst holds a Bachelor of Science in geology from McMaster University (1986). He was a mining analyst with McDermid St. Lawrence and Sprott Securities and a contract analyst to Pacific International Securities and Octagon Capital up until 1995. From 1995 to 2003 Mr. Hurst operated D.S. Hurst Inc. a company offering corporate, evaluation and financial consulting services to the mining industry. He was a founding executive of International Royalty Corporation from 2003 to 2006 and a director of the company until 2010 when the company was purchased by Royal Gold for $700 million.
